I had neglected to mention that Miranda got pregnant again and gave birth to another boy, Kiran. He has since grown to school-age, but a few pics of the boys:
Above, Viran, then school age, and Kiran. Viran got quite accomplished at making muffins.
Miranda did cook, but often ended up eating alone.
In fact, she got quite lonely during the day when Vlad was in his coffin.
She often talked to Viran,
about all sorts of adult things he probably didn’t understand.
I think he did understand his mother’s loneliness, and tried to get to his father (in a secret room).
However, he seemed content to read books.
Kiran grew to school age, as I said,
but not long after that Viran grew to a teenager.
Vlad did have a couple of romantic nights with Miranda when he wasn’t working, before he had to retreat to his coffin.
