Alex had met Robin a couple of times including at her place.
They’d got to know each other quite well but had yet to have a proper date.
So Alex rang Robin and they went on a date to P.U.R.E. After a soak in the tub they danced.
They kissed.
In short, they had a dream date. But Robin didn’t want to let this moment pass. This guy was rich and available. Why waste any more time?
Alex was shocked but accepted. (After all he needed someone to look after his young kids.)
As Robin left, Alex had to go and sit down to recover from the shock.
Alex was at university studying physics. He didn’t specifically have a girlfriend but a red-headed black woman named Marie Chen showed a lot of interest.
They started off as friends and got close enough to share kissing. However, a new student moved in – Marla Biggs, a student that comes with the game. Originally she was fat, wore a boring top and skirt, plaits and round glasses. She looked nerdy. But I got rid of the glasses and gave her a makeover and she was definitely interested in Alex.
But she first had to lose weight. So she exercised until she had and finally Alex noticed her.
Marla didn’t push it and made sure to avoid coming onto Alex when Marie was around.
But their luck didn’t hold out. It just so happened that Marie was passing by outside the dorm when they’d been flirting.
With that relationship down the tubes, Alex could concentrate on Marla. In the meantime he had extensive phone conversations with Amelie Champignon. But he eventually decided on proposing to Marla.
She accepted.
Time passed…
Alex completed his degree 3 semesters before Marla did and had a graduation party.
Alex farewelled Marla and headed home.
Marla moved out of that dorm and moved in with Richard Danaher and Damien Tan (so I could work on more than one student at a time).
At first Marla didn’t take any notice of Damien and he was oblivious to her and most other females.
But Marla was turned on by beards, so the inevitable finally happened.
Damien held a sports party and invited his father, Kenny, over. He witnessed the passion (as did Richard as they woohooed in a double bed in the middle of the dorm).
Back at the Lillard’s Alex invited his sister’s sister-in-law, Amelie, over and before he knew it, they were in bed together.
He wanted to get engaged to Amelie even though he was already engaged to Marla. Hmmm.
Finally, Marla graduated but she didn’t have a party and invite Alex – in case Damien saw them kissing or vice versa.
She headed back to Veronaville and moved in with the Lillards where Alex had had the bedroom extended.
Alex, meanwhile, had found a job in the science field.
Part two next.
The path to love is never smooth – at least not for Pierre. Francois has no problem at all – he can get any woman he wants.
Pierre searched downtown for the elusive Eva again without any luck. Eva did the same. They just weren’t meeting.
It was Francois who finally met Eva Cornwall through her mother, Maddie.

Francois invited both of them over one night and then invited Pierre over as well so he could finally meet the supposed woman of his dreams. But it didn’t go so well. Pierre just does not have his brother’s charm when it comes to women. (In fact Francois is attracted to Eva and could have had her swooning over him in minutes.)
The meeting didn’t go as planned. Within minutes, no – seconds, of meeting, Pierre and Eva were shoving and slapping each other. I have no idea why. Perhaps Pierre tried to move in on her too quickly or vice versa. I didn’t expect such a quick negative turn of events.
Francois tried his best to influence them both to be nice to each other. But it just kept getting worse.
They should have been attracted to each other but these Sims have minds of their own. Eva certainly had mixed feelings.
But you know what they say about couples who start off fighting when they meet. Sometimes it turns to love. Seems like Eva wants to like Pierre but he’s not doing himself any favours rejecting her.
The next day I had them ring each other up. Pierre’s relationship score for her was -86. After the phone call it was -54 – getting there slowly. Eva’s score to start with was only -25 or so. She didn’t dislike him nearly as much as he seemed to dislike her.
Time will tell. Perhaps Pierre needs to drink some Nu-vu or whatever it’s called…
Pierre has a good relationship with Francois’ wife, Katya. Perhaps they should swap?
